Eco Association Update: October 2024
Welcome to the Eco Association’s monthly newsletter. We cover developments in the Eco currency protocol and the broader community.
Let’s get to it.
Heading to Devcon? Meet the Eco Inc Team!
The Eco Inc team will be at Devcon 2024 in Bangkok in mid-November, and they’re interested in speaking with application builders and anyone building in the stablecoin space. Reach out by replying to this email or DMing them on Twitter if you’d like to get connected.
And, if you’re going to Devcon, are you looking for side events to attend while you’re there? Check out this list we’ve compiled — which now lists over 500 events surrounding the conference!
Protocol Governance ⚖️
In October, we had one proposal submitted via governance: The Next Eco Era: Trustee Payouts Fix, which passed and was executed onchain.
Stay tuned for another ‘Next Eco Era’ proposal coming from the Association in November to continue preparations for the relaunch of the protocol.
